About- Cystic fibrosis is an inherited disorder that causes severe damage to the lungs, digestive system through developing sticky mucus in these organs.
 
Symptoms-

 A persistent cough with thick mucus
 Bronchiectasis
 Constipation
 Diarrhea
 Exercise intolerance
 Foul-smelling, greasy stools
 Intestinal blockage, particularly in newborns (meconium ileus)
 Jaundice
 Poor weight gain and growth
 Repeated lung infections
 Shortness of breath 
 Stuffy nose
 Wheezing
 
Causes-
Main reason is the Gene mutation.
Complications
 Bronchitis
 Coughing for several days to weeks
 Shortness of breath
 Coughing up blood (hemoptysis)
 Bronchiectasis
 Dehydration
 Diabetes
 Infertility for women
Malnutrition
 Nasal polyps
 Osteoporosis
 Pneumonia 
 Pneumothorax
 Respiratory failure
