Rectocele

About-rectocele or posterior vaginal wall prolapse occurs due to weak tissue of the thin wall that separates the rectum from the vagina produce bulge in the vaginal wall.

Symptoms-
 A bulge of tissue in the vagina which may protrude through the vaginal opening
 Difficulty in bowel movement
 A sensation of rectal pressure or fullness
 Loose vaginal tissue
 
Causes-

rectocele occurs due to increase pressure on the pelvic floor. Causes of increased pelvic floor pressure include:
 Overweight or obese
 Bronchitis
 Chronic constipation
 Chronic cough
 Pregnancy and childbirth
 A problem in bowel movements
 Repeated heavy lifting
