About-rotator cuff tear is a tear of one or more of the tendons of the four rotator cuff muscles of the shoulder
Symptoms-
 Certain activities may cause pain
 Limited shoulder motion
 Pain or tenderness when reaching overhead
 Shoulder pain, especially at night
 Shoulder weakness
 Trouble reaching behind the back
 Trouble sleeping on the affected shoulder
 
Causes-
 Acute injury
 Fall, a car accident, or another sudden injury
 Overuse
 Progressive degeneration or wear and tear of the tendon tissue
 Repetitive overhead activity or heavy lifting over a prolonged period of time
